Ice Cream in a Coconut: I saw this idea over at OLD BRAND NEW and thought it was genius. But alas, when I went to the store this week.. there were no coconuts in sight. I know I’ve seen them there before.. maybe I’ll find them before summer is up! Photo Source.
The Meghan Method: This “fave” will probably get a post or a few all on it’s own, but it really is at the top of my list this week. My husband and I decided that since we both feel a little stuck in what we actually do want out of our rooms (not that we’ll be buying any of it right this second..), we picked this book up and it’s a very long and detailed process to get the look of your room and design it beautifully to fit your needs and wants. Although the book is big, it has sparked a lot of conversation so far with my husband and I and he’s actually really excited to help me decorate… which to be honest is good and bad (he’s a LOT more particular about things than I am). We’re excited to use this book as a guideline to at least get us to compromise on how our home ends up looking. The Meghan Method, Amazon.com, $23.10.
Hilarious Cartoon: I’m titling this “Hilarious Cartoon” because I just don’t even know what else to call it. The truth in it’s most blunt and real form? What everyone is thinking but not saying out loud? Everyone’s not-a-secret secret? Nonetheless, it made me smile this week, so it’s hitting the “faves.” Secret Grudge Girl Funny Magnet, SimplyCutebyKarin on etsy, $6.50.
Okra Stamping: Okay, I might be obsessed with the stamps. I swear I’ve had all sorts of these diy stamps on my faves.. those of you who get gifts from my family.. be prepared for some CA-RAZY homemade gift wrap this year! Source.
This particular Amy Butler fabric: I see, I want. I have to find a place to put it so I have a reason to buy it. It’s so cheery and happy. I need a little more of that in my life. Bliss Bouquet in Teal, HawthorneThreads.com, $8.75/yd.
