I’ve been really drawn to the classics lately, in fashion, decor, and food lately. Here are a few of my favorite updated classics as of late.
Flannel Flats: Loving the simple shape, but adorable detailing and texture. Ann Taylor Loft, $59.50.
Classic Dining: I keep seeing images with giant mirrors in dining rooms on Pinterest and I think this might have to be done in my own home very soon. I love the feminine lines of the chairs and the upholstery fabric is fantastic. Beautiful room, all around. Photo Source.
Metallic Clutch: Most clutches are similar in how they look, but I really love the fabric on this one. It could easily transition from day to night and I think the metallic is a really fun way to dress an outfit up a bit. Grey with metallic gold stripes clutch – antique brass metal frame clutch, ashleyp55 on etsy, $29.00.
Classic Casual Fashion: I found this first look over at Ann Taylor Loft and have to say.. I want the entire outfit. I love the casual look, but it looks really well-fitting and pulled together even for the simple pieces that they are. I think I’m also really loving on the stripes here.. I might be adding even more stripes to the wardrobe in the next few months. I also love this semi-structured, semi-slub looking jacket. I tend to be drawn to well-fitting jackets as I’m really petite and they help me look a little more pulled together. This jacket looks perfect for any weekend outing. Have a good weekend, everybody!
